Mentis Vision is the studio behind MDSyntax. We build tools that run locally, ask nothing of you, and get out of the way — the opposite of the subscription cloud service that reads your documents to justify its monthly fee.

Local by default
If a job can be done on the machine in front of you, it should be. No upload, no round trip, no dependency on our servers existing next year.
Bought, not rented
A tool you use every day shouldn't stop working because a card expired. Our desktop apps are one-time purchases wherever that's honest, with ongoing billing reserved for arrangements that genuinely have ongoing cost.
Made for one job
MDSyntax reads and converts documents. It is not becoming a note-taking system, a wiki or an AI assistant. Narrow products age well.
